retrieving hope

Lost in her thoughts
 cold and tired she walks alone
trying to find peace
from the chaos on her own...

Nothing unsaid has been left
nobody but her knows the best
that what she wants
is something she'll never get...
 

she wants to accept it
 and move on but her heart
lets the flame of hope be lit
to enlighten her to play her part...

She lets the drizzle
solve the riddle
sweep away the confusion
 to save her from delusions...

The blowing air
plays with her hair
covering her face
shadowing her tears...

tears of lost thought
tied up in a knot
which couldn't be unscrambled
from the way she had gambled...

drizzle turns into rain
she realises she can not gain
by being baffled
the things has to be tackled...

the wish to stand the storm
is becoming stronger

helping her to be warm
for the present and much longer...

walking in the rain
she moves to her abode
with the newly found serenity
even when chaos over flooded the roads...
