Fading Echoes

The pen waits
paper cries
They don't want
to say goodbye.

The words wait
and emotions cry
They don't want
to say goodbye.

The thoughts shout
but mind denies.
The senses hides
 consciousness waves bye.

The wisdom shouts
enlightenment cries.
They don't want
to say goodbye.

The soul shivers
The heart gives a cry
to live again
it gives a futile try.

Opened eyes
looking in the void.
 Thudding heart
faded in the noise.

The pen waited
the paper cried
They didn't want
but the poet did die.
